Excellent product and works very well, but had installation problems because Waste King's 3 bolt attachment is not compatible with custom sink flanges and their 3 bolt spring clip system forcing you to use the chrome one that came with the product. Therefore I have one sink side with a very nice flange that complements the sink and the other sink side has the chrome that doesn't go with our sink decoration. I'll figure something out in the future because I love the 1 HP Waste King's performance. The installation and accompanying parts went in without any difficulty otherwise. No need to buy an elbow or other attachments. Spent an hour and a half trying to use my flange and only 30 minutes installing the machine once I gave up and used the chrome flange. The soap on the rubber attachment point really works well. The noise when operating is minimal and acceptable. Though the machine takes up more space than our previous model, I really considered removing the plastic housing that serves no purpose other than to advertise the product and take up space. I suspect that a 1/2 or 3/4 HP model would be sufficient for most kitchens. We needed the 1 HP because my wife is not very good at the grinding process.

I never had a garbage disposal before. This was part of a complete kitchen remodel. I chose WasteKing because the company was featured on This Old House a couple of years ato and they usually visit the best manufacturers. This is a great unit except I don't find it quiet but what do I know about garbage disposals--though I've heard much LOUDER units. (I thought quiet meant I wouldn't hear anything.) I don't mind hearing it grinding away--most effeciently I might add--I don't mind the sound. It's been installed for 2 weeks and I'm spoiled not having to store my garbage in a container in the fridge andy more. Besides who could argue with Waste Kings lifetime warranty.

Coffee Lover: Works well

This disposer has been a good one. The only problems I have had was a wobble once..ran some ice through it and it took care of it. Then a came a little loose once, this could have been my fault, not sure. The thing I like is that it is very quite compared to our last one and that it has a 6 year in home warranty. We have had ours for about 3 1/2 years. Pretty good disposer. Have a nice day!

Our previous garbage disposal unit recently bit the dust. Obviously we needed a new one. I did a good bit of research and found this unit. It wasn't super expensive like some of the disposals I looked at, but it also wasn't at the bottom in price either. Installation was actually pretty easy. I watched a video on youtube from Lowes and it gave me pretty much all the knowledge I needed to install this device. When using the disposal I was amazed at how quiet it was. I found myself checking and double checking to see if it was even working. It is amazingly quiet compared to our previous model (InSinkErator Badger). I do not think anyone would be disappointed with the decision to acquire this garbage disposal.

This unit grinds anything you put into it. it can be a little loud but not so much that i'd switch brands. the rotating colar made it very easy to install.

I bought this disposal to replace an older Insinkerator that rusted through the housing and started leaking. The Waste King L-3300 was easy to install and is much lighter and much, much quieter than my old disposal. Everything I needed for installation was in the package, including a stopper. At about $115, this isn't the cheapest model available, but I am very pleased with the performance and operation so far.
